Making money online is considered by most people to be a “too good to be true business”, but with the weakening economy more and more people are loosing their sense of security with conventional ways of earning their money. I took a closer look at what it really takes to make money online. Let me start by saying that there is no easy way to make money online, in fact the learning curve is quiet big, but like any other industry if you are committed to learn and work hard you will see some pretty impressive results. There are a few realities that I would like to point out to you.

First reality, if you are a beginner at the online biz thing, then it will probably serve you to go out and pick up one of these “How to courses” on making money online. Why you ask? Well to be very blunt either you are going to pay out your $70 - $100 dollars for a “How to course” or you are going to spend months in front of your computer trying to put together the internet marketing puzzle. Now if you are a savvy computer literate individual with 3 to 4 months to spare, than by all means don’t waste your money on a “How to course”, but for the rest of us who just don’t have that kind of time, I have to say that if you can look past all the ridiculous promises that these courses claim and see the value in what they will teach you, then you will benefit greatly in the big picture. Let’s face it these people are trying to sell their programs and telling people the simple truth doesn’t quite inspire a frenzy in customers to buy their products, but if you tell them that they will make $3,000.00 dollars a day, now they are ready to order. So with that said I have seen allot of these programs and the value in all of them is that they really do show you how an internet business works. So you have to consider that maybe there is a value to what they are selling “information” and information is power, the more you know the more this industry will make sense to you, and the more this industry makes sense to you the more likely you are to making money in it.

Second reality, the single most important thing you need to understand about making money online is INTERNET MARKETING, the more you learn about this the more power you will have making money online. I can’t stress enough how important it is for you to have a good understanding of internet marketing because regardless of weather you are selling a service, a product, or information, internet marketing will expose your product and or services to those who are looking for them.

Third reality, you need to choose a product or service that you are familiar with to start off with. Think of it as an experiment of sorts. Your first run at this will probably net very little money but remember you are learning, you will absolutely need a trial run at this in order work out all the kinks and for all this to make sense to you. Once you are at a point where you feel like you have a decent idea of how this works, you can proceed into uncharted territory and apply what you have learned to different more unfamiliar products and services.

Fourth reality, and here is where the news gets better. After a few attempts at it you will see that you have made a little money and its at this point that people who actually make it this far, say to themselves, “Ok I’ve made say $350.00 this month with my product or service…….. hmmmmmmmm what would happen if I applied the same methods to 20 different products or services?? hmmmmmmmm $350.00 X 20 = $7,000.00″ do you see the picture here? do you see how people are making such ridiculous amounts of money? dedication and perseverance truly does pay off.

Fifth Reality, people do make money online, in fact they make allot of money, but it does not come easy. The one million dollar question is though ” Is it worth my money and time to invest in myself?” answer is YES because you are investing in yourself, no boss, no limits and ultimately the freedom that everyone longs for and deserves!!
