Everything in this world has an advantage and a disadvantage. If we have our business plan implemented to our own, we may consider that there’s an advantage and disadvantage on it. If we compare our business to another business, it will be determined what we have that the competitors don’t’ have, and what the competitors have that we don’t have. This is the same thing through article marketing, which also has advantages and disadvantages on it’s on.

But what are the advantages and disadvantages of article marketing anyway? Are they affecting the image and content of our article? Or are they affecting the user’s traffic, visitors, revenue and sales? If we don’t recognize on what are these advantages and disadvantages that article marketing has stored for us, we will not be able to accomplish or master everything in its way when it comes to uniqueness and publication. So here are the list of advantages and disadvantages of article marketing when using it for making money on the Internet:

Advantages:

• It gains popularity of your website, which the articles are the main course of your content. It helps you get more visitors, backlinks, revenue and sales.

• It may grant you as the true owner of the content or article, which the readers may know that you are the one who publish the article, and they keep on coming back over and over again for your updated articles.

• It is one of the best link building or search engine optimization strategies on which the publishers or writers can promote their site in the signature area of the article directory site. Link building with good and unique information also attracts many customers who have interest in the niche you’ve implemented.

Disadvantages:

• It will cost you more time to generate traffic to your articles on a daily basis. If we do search engine optimization daily, it simply gets us tired and exhausted because we work more than eight to ten hours a day just to build more backlinks to our article, blog or website.

• It has many high competing keywords, which the author or user must think of a unique keyword that is low competitive in search engines. You have no more chance to implement a keyword or keyphrase combination attached in your content or article that is highly competitive, because they were completely taking over the top spots. It’s better to stick with low or average competitive keywords which can be determined using the Google Keyword Tool Analyzer.

• Some relevant websites or blogs won’t last long, only depends to the website or blog owner. If the website or blog disappeared without prior notice, your backlinks are gone. So make sure that we have the web or blog owner’s contact details to motivate and follow them up for good.
